Netherlands based niche house HIRAM GREEN is introducing its latest fragrance ULTRA inspired by the 1980s: the images of bold fashion with big shoulder pads, mullets, catchy synth music and neon hued interiors. Perfumer and brand owner Hiram Green is presenting it today at the Pitti Fragranze event in Florence.
The composition reflects the vibe of that decade, keeping the intense energy, confidence and a relentless optimism. As Hiram Green describes, "At the heart of Ultra the narcissus shines. Its rich and radiant character brings to life the vibrant spirit of the 1980s. At the same time, the flower’s name and its narcotic and intoxicating aroma also hint at something darker as they recall the Greek myth of Narcissus - a cautionary tale that was most likely lost on the hedonists of the decade…"
